Simple but powerful question
In addition to The Broccoli Test, this question will help you figure out if you’re eating for the right reasons.
Ask yourself, “Am I using this food or am I eating this food?”
Here’s what I mean: We tend to use food for entertainment, pleasure, comfort, security, etc., instead of eating food to make us feel energized, strong, satisfied and healthy.
There’s a big difference in using VS eating. (Remember Janice from yesterday’s lesson?)
BTW: This doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy your favorite foods. The goal is to be fit and happy, not fit and miserable. That means enjoying (not using) your favorite foods.
Any program that demands you give up your favorite foods is not only ridiculous but unsustainable. Who wants to live like that?
You can enjoy your favorite foods while losing weight. In fact, that’s what we teach our clients.
Because if you don’t enjoy your life as you’re losing weight, you’ll never be able to sustain it.

In tomorrow’s email, I’m going to share why it’s so hard to actually stick to a diet. Look out for it.
